  • He is a full time public representative and managing director of Noel O’Flynn Ltd.

Noel O’Flynn TD has represented the Cork North Central constituency since 1997. He also served on Cork City Council from 1991 until 2003, stepping down from the council following the introduction of the dual mandate.

Noel currently chairs two important Oireachtas Committees – the Committee on Members’ Interests and the Working Group of Committee Chairman. He is also a member of the Joint Oireachtas

Committee on European Scrutiny and the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs. From 2002-2007 Deputy O’Flynn also served as Chairman of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.

Over the course of his political and business career Noel has also been a member of the Cork Habour Commissioners, the Institute of Motor Industry, the Southern Health Board, Cork Chamber of Commerce and the Society of Irish Motor Industry.
